Frozen Fog

A dense fog engulfs me

Frozen in place by the chilly air

Blocking my view of the landscape

Motionless

Guarding the earth from the sun

Blocking warmth

Lingering past midday

Stubborn

Structures hidden until the last moment

Mighty buildings held hostage

Creatures approach cautiously

Intimidating

Silently in control
