Hidden Hills
This land is flat
Like the place I was born
Home of the oranges
Not too much corn
These hills, they surprise me
Rising up from the earth
Illinois mountains
In the time of rebirth
Fellow travelers don’t mind
We go up and go down
Then the path takes a turn
I look all around
At once, I’m rewarded
Just ahead, I can see
The skyline of a city
Will soon surround me
